What is Master Your Gut?
Master Your Gut is a 6-part online program consisting of videos with transcripts by Dr. Jacqui Fleury, ND. Total runtime is approximately 26 minutes.
Who can Benefit from Master Your Gut?
Do you have any gas or bloating? Have you ever noticed that your belly feels flat at the beginning of the day but as the day wears on you start to feel more and more bloated? Do your pants feel tighter? Do you feel more tired or low energy at the end of the day?
Perhaps you’ve noticed that the bloating and gas can contribute to food cravings where it feels like maybe eating something will settle the way your belly feels. It is common to have gas, but it’s not ideal. And it’s something that you improve by incorporating some of the right dietary changes and making some lifestyle changes.
Are bowel movements related to my gut?
When it comes to your bowel movements, perhaps there is some constipation or diarrhea or loose stools. Constipation is difficulty having a bowel movement. It can be that it’s hard to pass. It can be that you’re not having a good, complete bowel movement every day. Maybe you’re skipping every second or third day or maybe you’re just not having complete bowel movements. These descriptions all describe some form of constipation, and it is not ideal to not be having a bowel movement every day.
But maybe you’ve been to your doctor and your doctor might have told you that whatever is normal for you is normal. But if you’re not having a bowel movement every day, no matter whether or not it seems normal for you, it’s probably not ideal. And it probably doesn’t feel very good.
The flip side of constipation would be diarrhea where you’re having more than one to three bowel movements a day, and it might be liquid. There may be no form to the stool, it might be explosive, or it may appear like little skinny ribbons or little snake-like poops.
What else is related to gut health?
Heartburn is often in combination with reflux where it feels like food or acid is coming up your esophagus into the back of your throat. Or you may just experience a burning sensation in your stomach or in the upper part of your digestive tract. There can be many causes for heartburn and reflux.
What does Master Your Gut offer?
Master Your Gut can help you understand why you might be dealing with constipation, diarrhea, heartburn, reflux, gas, or bloating, or any combination of any of these gut issues. It will help you get to know your digestive tract, and to get to know your gut better so that you have some understanding of how to make it feel better.
Life can feel a whole lot better when we’re having great bowel movements and when our gut doesn’t feel bloated and full all the time.
