Grain Free Muffins

Check out this recipe for grain-free bran muffins from Dr. Fleury. These are great for a healthy snack while on-the-go!

Grain Free Muffins

Ingredients

• ½ cup blanched almond flour • ½ cup golden flaxseeds, ground
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• ½ tsp. celtic sea salt
• 6 dates
• 3 eggs
• 2 tbsp. avocado oil or grapeseed oil
• ¼ cup water
• ¼ cup hemp hearts
• ¼ cup sunflower seeds • ½ cup raisins

Preparation

1. In a large bowl combine almond flour, flax meal, baking soda and salt
2. In a Blendtec blend dates, eggs, avocado oil and water on high speed until very smooth
3. Mix wet ingredients into dry, then stir in hemp hearts, sunflower seeds and raisins
4. Spoon batter into lined muffin pan
5. Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes
