Continuing with my theme of breakfast recipes that are free of common food sensitivities, I present to you my alkalinizing, nourishing, healthy and—yes—tasty green smoothie. The trick here is to choose a protein powder that doesn’t have a strong taste and to choose a greens powder that is slightly sweet (preferably using Stevia) and pleasant-tasting without the bitter aftertaste that many tend to have. I have made suggestions below but feel free to experiment and choose whatever works best for you. Also note that you may need a high speed blender like a Vitamix or a Blendtec in order to really blend all these ingredients into a nice, creamy smoothie.
