  • 1 ½ cups unsweetened almond milk (or other milk of your choice)

  • 1–2 tsp maple syrup or raw honey (to taste)

  • ¼ tsp ground turmeric

  • Pinch ground black pepper

  • Pinch ground cinnamon

  • Pinch of saffron threads (about 15-20 threads)

  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract (optional)

  • 1 tsp coconut oil (optional, for a creamier texture)

Directions:

  1. In a small saucepan over low heat, add almond milk and saffron threads. Let it warm gently for 5-10 minutes to allow the saffron to steep. Avoid boiling.

  2. Add turmeric, black pepper, cinnamon, coconut oil (if using), and your sweetener of choice.

  3. Stir well and continue to warm gently for another 3–5 minutes.

  4. Use a hand frother or blender if you prefer a foamier texture.
