Holly Blackburn is one of True Potential Health’s Administrative Assistants and also often the voice behind our Instagram account. Here is a recipe for one of her favourite lunches – lettuce wraps – she recommends preparing the filling on the weekend to enjoy in lunches at work all week long.
A healthy, fast and delicious recipe for both work and school lunches:
- Ground Turkey
- Chopped Onion & Garlic
- Spices (Chili, Cumin etc. season to preferred taste)
- Romaine Lettuce Spears
- Olive oil
Lettuce Wrap Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pan and then add your ground turkey.
- Wait until meat is browned, add your onion and garlic and spices to taste.
- Spoon your turkey filling into your lettuce spears and serve warm or cold.
Get creative with these!
Add Salsa, Sour cream, avocado, cheese… anything you can think of!
