Warm up with Spiced Hot Chocolate
Ingredients
2 cups unsweetened oat milk (or any milk you like)
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
2-3 tablespoons sweetener (maple syrup, honey, stevia, etc.)
1 tablespoon MCT oil (click here for our favourite)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Directions
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, warm your milk until it’s hot, but don’t let it boil.
- Add the cocoa powder and sweetener and whisk until both are dissolved into the milk and well combined.
- Remove your saucepan from the heat and stir in the MCT oil, vanilla extract, and spices. Whisk again until everything is combined.
- Pour into a mug and enjoy!
Enjoy Sunshine in a Mug with a Golden Spiced Latte
Ingredients
2 cups unsweetened oat milk (or any milk you like)
2 tablespoons sweetener of your choice (honey, maple syrup, stevia, etc)
1 tablespoon MCT oil (click here for our favourite)
2 teaspoons ground turmeric
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/8 teaspoon black pepper (this can help you absorb more curcumin, an anti-inflammatory agent in turmeric)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions
- In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it reaches a gentle simmer.
- Add the ground turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, and black pepper and whisk to combine. Simmer for about 3 minutes, continuing to whisk frequently.
- Remove saucepan from heat and add MCT oil, sweetener, and vanilla extract. Whisk again until well combined.
- Pour into a mug and enjoy!
Kickstart Your Day with an Energizing Coffee
Ingredients
2 cups freshly brewed high-quality coffee – Click to try our favourite Organo coffee, enhanced with Reishi mushroom
1 tablespoon MCT oil (click here for our favourite)
1-2 tablespoons butter (ideally grass-fed)
Sweetener of your choice, to taste (honey, maple syrup, stevia, etc)
Optional: Add in a splash of vanilla and/or sprinkle some cinnamon on top
Directions
- Brew your coffee, then pour it into a heat-safe blender.
- Add the MCT oil, butter and sweetener into the blender (also add your vanilla now if using).
- Blend all ingredients on high for about 20 seconds, until your drink becomes frothy and creamy.
- Pour your drink into a mug, and optionally sprinkle some cinnamon on top.
- Enjoy!
