On December 19, 2015, Dr. Naomi Whelan hosted our 2nd annual fundraiser for the Saskatoon Food Bank and Learning Centre.

Thank-you to all of the friends, patients, and family members who came in for a relaxing day of acupuncture and Bowen therapy. We raised over $500, which will be doubled by Potash Corp’s annual gift matching campaign. One very generous patient brought in a large food donation as well.

The Saskatoon Food Bank and Learning Center relies solely on donations and community fundraising for its operating budget. In addition to preventing hunger, the food bank provides other critical programs to fight poverty and hunger. These include nutrition courses, literacy programs, counselling, and tax services.
